My interest in the Torrington surname started in 1994 when I began to trace my direct ancestry. This quickly expanded to cover all those with the Torrington surname worldwide.
I joined the Guild of One Name Studies in 1996 and registered my research which enabled me to reach others with an interest in the surname.
